Capacity Planning


The goal of the Capacity Planning is to ensure that we always have sufficient but not excessive resources to meet the customer requirement.

Mainly the three steps are performed in capacity planning :

  1. The first step, is to measure what's going on
  2. The second step, is to forecast work load
  3. The third step, is a model which has to be validated by offering the services in  the cloud

Strategy for capacity planning-
  • Just Too Late (JLL)
  • Just In Case (JIC)
  • Just In Time (JIT)
